Delta Blues Brasil was created by musician Pedro Friedrich to spread blues knowledge in Brazil and help aspiring guitarists.
The website showcases blues masters as examples and offers various services to enhance your knowledge, including online lessons, individual mentorship, online courses, and detailed tutorial videos with responsive tablature to improve your guitar performance.
Delta Blues Brasil is the first place in Brazil to offer this unique and comprehensive material. The genre's rich history has been passed down from Muddy Waters to B.B. King, influenced by artists like Son House and Robert Johnson, each contributing to its unique repertoire.

Pedro Friedrich is a Brazilian guitarist, singer, and songwriter with 18 years of experience.
He has been teaching guitar and acoustic guitar for 8 years, using a differentiated methodology for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students.
Born in Nova Friburgo, Brazil, Pedro has performed at various festivals, including the Jazz and Blues Festival (Campos, Rio das Ostras, Nova Friburgo), Friburgo Street Blues (2022), Festival Férias na PI - Fortaleza-CE, Festival de Verão e Inverno (Sesc), and more. In 2019, he participated in a show with musician Cláudio Nucci and presented his new Delta Blues reinterpretation project titled "The Real Blues" at Teatro Rival (Rio de Janeiro) during the celebration of renowned harmonica player Jefferson Gonçalves' 30-year career.
In 2019, he was featured on the Coluna Blues Rock website in an exclusive interview where he shared a bit of his musical journey.
In 2024, he was mentioned by Guitar Load magazine as one of the 36 best Blues guitarists in Brazil.
He is also a Professor and Curator of the Blues nas Ruas Festival, which aims to bring art and culture to people with disabilities through the Blues.
Pedro's musical journey began at the age of 13 when he received his first guitar. He drew inspiration from his father's vinyl collection, which included bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Rush, Genesis, Johnny Winter, among others, shaping his musical background. In 2019, he was featured in an exclusive interview on the Coluna Blues Rock website, sharing insights into his musical journey.
THE REAL BLUES
The Real Blues project, carried out by Jefferson Gonçalves and Pedro Friedrich, delves deep into the history of American music, resulting in an incredible reinterpretation of the oldest style of blues in history: Delta Blues, also known as Rural Blues.
Delta Blues was born in the southern United States, with its roots in the Mississippi Delta region and originated from the work songs of African slaves. Over the course of a few decades, the Blues evolved and gave rise to other styles such as Jazz, Rock and Roll, Soul, among others. Renowned bands and artists like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Jimi Hendrix were greatly influenced by Delta Blues.

Many people are unaware of the true history of the Blues and how this electrifying musical style was originally played. Jefferson and Pedro conducted in-depth research into the roots of this American genre from the 1920s and 1930s, capturing the essence of Rural Blues in an album.
Their themed show not only flawlessly performs the greatest Blues classics but also creates an unforgettable impression on the audience by intertwining music with the history of each composer from that era and the origins of the entire movement, with a particular focus on the great Robert Johnson, known as the Father of Blues.
The Real Blues transports the listener or viewer to the cotton plantations of the Delta in a classic and impactful way. The project offers a unique experience, allowing you to hear songs that depict the sorrows and experiences of the slaves. It's remarkable to experience this primordial style of Blues live and on current digital platforms, brilliantly reinterpreted, as the original recordings of the Delta Blues legends have low sound quality due to their age.
With a touch of contemporaneity, Pedro's voice and guitar, which seem native to Mississippi, along with Jefferson's impeccable and complex harmonica arrangements, result in emotionally charged, powerful, and sophisticatedly subtle performances, both in live shows and recordings, taking the audience on an incredible musical journey.
